Cocktails on a bar

There are many great hidden bars to visit in Las Vegas … if you know where to find them.

  1. Tamarind Margarita at the Ghost Donkey

Many are familiar with the fountains outside of the Bellagio. Once inside, you can visit the Conservatory, where the Year of the Dragon is being celebrated. Or look up to admire the 2,000 hand-blown glass blossoms created by Dale Chihuly located on the ceiling at check-in. But don’t stop there. With a little planning you can find yourself with a reservation to The Vault at the Bellagio. This exclusive speakeasy offers spectacular cocktails (if you can find the hidden door near the table games just off the casino floor).

  2. If you visit the Museum for Organized Crime & Law Enforcement, a.k.a. the Mob Museum, don’t forget to step into The Underground Speakeasy & Distillery.
  3. If you are a cat lover and know how to MEOW, then you may have the skills needed to enter the speakeasy at Resorts World.
  4. After enjoying a buffet at the Wicked Spoon, be sure to make your way to the Ghost Donkey, located at the Block 16 food hall. This speakeasy is known for its tequila and mezcal cocktails that are delicious enough to make you want to purr.
  5. Are you looking for music and cocktails? If so, head to The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails at the Cosmopolitan. Enter the janitor’s door and go back in history to the days of prohibition.
  6. To find this speakeasy, you need to find the hidden entrance and enlist the help of the “Locksmith” who will help you to unlock this Las Vegas secret location. Once you find this unique location, sit back and relax while you listen to great music.
  7. Don’t forget to visit the newest casino on the strip called the Fontainbleau and take a trip to Nowhere. At this speakeasy you can relax, play billiards, and enjoy extraordinary cocktails.

See you at the 2024 Clinical Laboratory Educators Conference (CLEC), February 22-24!
