Foodies attending the 2024 Clinical Laboratory Educators Conference (CLEC) are in luck! Las Vegas buffets are well known for quality food presented in opulent surroundings. They also provide a unique opportunity to sample great food from around the world. Here are five of the most popular buffets in Vegas.
Wynn Las Vegas Buffet – The Wynn Buffet features a diverse dessert assortment including crepes and hand dipped chocolate.
The Bacchanal Buffet at Ceasars Palace – The Bacchanal Buffet is considered by many to be one of the best buffets in Las Vegas. The offerings include fresh seafood, sushi, and a variety of Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, and American foods. There are many gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options available. The Bacchanal Buffet also has a great assortment of desserts and ice cream. At the Bacchanal, good food does not come cheap. This is one of the more expensive buffets but is a wonderful experience.
The Wicked Spoon – The Wicked Spoon at the Cosmopolitan is consistently voted one of the best buffets in Las Vegas. It features a wide variety and the chance to taste several dishes served on individual small plates. Make sure you save room for dessert. The selection includes cake pops, pastries, cookies, and a gelato bar with unique flavors like strawberry balsamic and salted caramel peanut. When considering this buffet, you need to get there early, because it is only open until 3 pm.
Buffet at Bellagio – The Buffet at Bellagio is an excellent buffet at a reasonable price. It offers several made-to-order items in addition to the traditional American, Italian, Japanese, and Chinese food offerings. Once you are done with the buffet be sure to take a stroll through the conservatory and botanical gardens featuring a Chinese New Year display.
The MGM Grand Buffet – The MGM Grand Buffet offers a large selection of dishes at a reasonable price. It offers a good place to get breakfast items and ease into your day. The buffet closes at 3 pm, so you will need to get there early. Don’t forget to pair your food items with a variety of drink options. Several of the buffets offer drink specials, so be sure to ask.
CLEC 2024 will be held February 22-24, and registrants have the option to attend in-person or virtually. Register by February 1 to get the regular rate and save $50 off the onsite/late registration rate.
