Available Grants
The Ascending Professionals Forum (APF) and the Developing Professionals Forum (DPF) will collectively award over $10,000 worth of travel and registration scholarships to Ascending and Developing Professionals attending the Joint Annual Meeting (JAM) either in-person or virtually. The exact breakdown of these scholarships will be determined by the number of applicants and their preference of attendance.

Guidelines:
To be considered for a scholarship, each applicant must:
- Be a current ASCLS member. Your application must coincide with your membership category:
- Developing Professional members are eligible to apply for the DPF grant
- Ascending Professional members are eligible to apply for the APF grant
- Be attending as a full conference attendee to the 2025 Joint Annual Meeting—either virtually or in person.
Preference is given to the following:

- First-time attendees.
- Members who have a record of active professional/student organization involvement, and/or interest in professional activities.
- Length of ASCLS membership.
To receive a scholarship, awardees must:

- Attend the 2025 Joint Annual Meeting for the entire duration—either virtually or in-person. Participation is expected at the following events:
- Any DPF or APF meetings (whichever one is applicable to you) that are offered.
- The ASCLS Issues Update/Professional Issues Open Forum
- Attend the 2025 Joint Annual Meeting for the entire duration—either virtually or in-person. Participation is expected at the following events:
Funds distribution:
Recipients will receive the total amount of the award upon confirmation of registration to the meeting. Payment will be made by electronic ACH through the ASCLS payment system. Checks will not be issued.
It is expected that recipients will maintain their ASCLS membership and provide active service at the local, state, or national level after receipt of scholarship.
