Attendees at the 2025 ASCLS, AGT & SAFMLS Joint Annual Meeting in Sacramento, CA, June 8-12The Joint Annual Meeting (JAM)—hosted by the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS), Association of Genetic Technologists (AGT), and Society of American Federal Medical Laboratory Scientists (SAFMLS)—is held each year in June or July. JAM brings together over 800 leaders, practitioners, and students in clinical laboratory science for a single, integrated event. The 2026 JAM will be held June 28-July 2 in St. Louis.

 

The Clinical Laboratory Educators Conference (CLEC) is the single largest gathering of faculty, administrators, directors, advisers, and others in medical laboratory education with more than 650 attendees each year. The three-day event offers sessions, poster presentations, and social gatherings. The 2027 CLEC will be held February 4-6 in Arlington, Texas.

 

The Emerging Laboratory Managers Collaborative Conference (ELMC2) two-day virtual event is designed specifically to help laboratory professionals transition into and thrive in management roles. The all-virtual conference means no travel costs and a low-maintenance opportunity to engage with new and future medical laboratory managers. The 2026 ELMC2 will be held November 13-14.

Off the Bench podcastThe Off the Bench podcast discusses scientific and not-so-scientific ideas in laboratory medicine. Their motto is, “Let’s share ideas and talk nerdy.”
